Bulk Magnetic Materials

Bulk magnetic materials as metallic alloys, ceramics and composites are prepared using combination of wet chemical and solid state reactions, as well as arc melting and chemical vapor deposition techniques. Such materials include:

  • Transition-metal and rear-earth alloy magnets
  • Magnetic transition-metal oxides, nitrides, sulfides and carbides
  • Transition/noble metal composites
These new bulk magnetic materials are also served as targets for the preparation of thin films using appropriate techniques as Pulsed Laser Deposition.
